Consultant & Coach Profiles 

​Dr. Rose Opengart is an Independent Educational Consultant and College Essay Coach who has also worked as a Career Coach. She has a background in Human Resources in both industry and as a faculty member, most recently teaching graduate students at Texas A&M.

​Rose holds a B.A. in Psychology from Boston University, an M.S. in Management from Virginia Tech, and a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development from the University of Georgia. Rose has extensive writing experience, having fulfilled publishing requirements in academia, written magazine articles, and once maintained a regular newspaper column on human resources topics.

​Rose enjoys working with this age group and is committed to helping students realize their full writing potential. As a consultant who truly finds essay development and writing fun, she finds that students appreciate her dedication to making the process enjoyable and as easy as possible.

With three young college students and graduates of her own, she understands the
undergraduate and graduate application processes from the perspectives of parent, student, and faculty member. She truly believes in the importance of fit, with her children each attending different universities, including Washington University of St. Louis, Indiana University, and the College of William & Mary.

 

Rose is originally from New York but now lives in Tennessee with her husband and fur babies. You might even see her Aussiedoodle join in on zoom calls!
