Margaret Duggan Miller, MA
Independent Educational Consultant

Margaret holds a Bachelor's in History from the College of William and Mary and a Master's in Medieval History from NYU. After a decade in the art world and university teaching, she discovered her passion for college counseling, making it her second career.

Margaret earned her Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA with distinction in 2013. Prior to independent consulting, she served as Director of College Counseling at a private all-girls college prep high school in Nashville, where she helped hundreds of students find their best-fit colleges.
With visits to over 150 campuses nationwide, Margaret provides firsthand knowledge about college settings, resources, and cultures to her students and families. She stays current on higher education trends, actively participates in college counseling organizations, attends regional and national conferences, and volunteers as a Regional Vice Chair for Independent Educational Consultants Association.
As a parent of two daughters at Columbia University-one a junior and one a freshman-Margaret brings personal experience to the college process. She is committed to making this challenging journey an enjoyable experience for each student.
